Thank you for your interest in the Lynch Extended Learning Program! We offer three 8 week sessions that are offered throughout the year in three sessions. Classes are taught by by our wonderful Lynch teachers. PLEASE NOTE: Registration for the Winter session will open on JANUARY 15th and classes will being the week of January 29th. Classes listed below are planned for the Winter Session but are subject to change between now and the 15th as details are finalized. Please review the class dates closely – they work around early release days.

If there are weather related school closings, ELP classes will also be cancelled and added to the end of the session.

What’s better than spending quality time reading a good book and playing math games alongside a few Lynch teachers and friends?
Join us on Mondays and/or Wednesdays as we read, both independently and in small groups, and practice math concepts and facts using Everyday math games, Math Journal activities and HomeLinks .

Lynch School Extended Learning Club will help students fulfill grade-level goals for home learning.

We will meet students in the cafeteria before each session. We ask that you send a healthy snack with your child to be enjoyed during this time- reading and math can create quite the appetite! Students are also asked to bring an independent “just right” reading book from home or from their classroom.

Join Ms. Pine and Ms. Rogers for 30 minutes of fun indoor exercise followed by 30 minutes of the paper folding art of origami. From samurai helmets to sit-ups, we'll do it all.

The web-based Keyboarding Without Tears program will be used, which can be used for the entire school year, on any computer with internet access. During the sessions, each student will be guided through the program at his or her own pace.

They will learn respect for themselves and others while practicing poses (individual, partner and group) and enjoying fun yoga games, art projects, music and storytelling.

Please have your child bring a yoga mat or towel and a snack.

2:50-4:00 pmK-210 students$80 for 8 weeksCome laugh with us! Each week, this fun-filled offering will begin with a comical, seasonally themed book. After hearing the story students will engage in various center based activities: re-write the ending, change out a main character, learn and create jokes/songs/ rhymes related to the theme, produce a craft related to the story, explore idiomatic expressions related to the theme, etc. Emphasis will be placed on the language of the text not on reading/ decoding. Perfect for students who love books, like to laugh and/or need extra language practice!

Students should bring a snack and a drink from home.

We will dismiss from the front entrance at 4pm.
